Residential Support Worker – The Red House, Johnstone, Refrewshire
Unqualified: £10.47-£11.00 per hour
Qualified: £11.12-£11.68 per hour
40 Hours per week – Full time
The Red House:
The vision we share at the Red House is to be a safe, stable, caring, nurturing and fun environment where the experience is akin to a large family home.
Part of Young Foundations, The Red House is a specialist provision for children and young people, who have a range of identified complex and challenging needs such as Autism, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Issues and other health needs.
We strive to be a containing environment with a therapeutic approach underpinned by an understanding of trauma.
We have a fierce determination to understand our children and young people and support them to make sense of their journey, to heal and to step forward toward achieving their potential.
The Role:
As a genuinely caring and highly motivated Residential Support Worker you should embody our goals in improving the lives of our children and young people in a residential setting.
As a key worker you will have the opportunity to support this progress and development of the child or young person assigned to you and take a key role in improving their life chances.
To join our team you should have experience of supporting children or young adults in a similar environment.
It is desirable for you to hold the relevant SVQ Diploma 3 / 4 qualification in Health and Social Care. However, without this qualification we will also consider your application.
