Reservations Supervisor - About You
- Previous experience working within hotel reservations department
- Opera Cloud knowledge would be an advantage
- Be able to remain calm under pressure in order to deliver the best guest experience
- A natural ability to sell our products and services, as well as a keen eye for detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Confidence in your written and spoken English language to ensure our guests are dealt with in a polite and professional manner at all times
Responsibilities of the Reservations Supervisor
- Maximise the revenue and profitability of the room sales for The Mayfair Townhouse through high standards and product knowledge
- Identify areas of improvement for better service standards with a general theme of anticipating the guests' needs
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone or mail
- Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room types for requirements
- Ensure billing instruction are correctly updated
- Continuously check reservations and report daily – length of stay bookings, high rates, cancellations etc
- Control and maintain room inventory
- Assist Revenue Manager with commissions and reporting, daily pick-up reports, month end reports and revenue decisions
- Work closely with Revenue Manager in making overbooking decisions and working with Front of House team to balance room inventory
- To show teamwork and flexibility and liaise with our other Iconic properties on a daily basis for guest requests and daily correspondence checks
