The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
In the role of Reservations Agent, your key focus will be to:
- answer all incoming Reservation enquiries, to the agreed departmental standard, and wherever possible to convert them to bookings
- input reservations into the OPERA system, ensuring all details are accurate and complete in line with the agreed departmental standard.
- ensure all system traces are actioned on a daily basis
- ensure all 'no-shows' from the previous night are followed up and charged accordingly
- perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing as and when required
Do you have? -
- excellent customer service skills and ability to build the rapport with guests
- ability to produce work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- strong organisational and administrative skills
- strong computer skills; all Microsoft Office packages and working knowledge of Opera PMS is essential.
