About the role:
Reporting into the Reservations Manager, the role involves day-to-day management of the hotels reservations, to co-ordinate and maximise all enquiries and bookings. You will be responsible for guest reservations ensuring all details are accurately inputted and communicated by phone, email and in person.
Some of the key tasks include but are not limited to:
- Utilise our in-house booking system to manage reservations, provide written confirmation
- Manage guests reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standards
- Give details of hotel facilities and pricing information
- Upsell other areas of the hotel
- Ensure expectations are set correctly, in advance of the guest’s stay.
- Assisting the Revenue Manager with agreed daily tasks
- Assisting with group bookings where directed
- Ensure daily reservations checks are completed
- Follow up on payments and cancellation charges
- General administration tasks
About you:
Ideally you have already gained work experience in the same or similar role, preferably within a prestigious hotel environment.
You will preferably have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role, and most importantly be eager to develop yourself to grow personally and professionally integrating a caring team in a vibrant, fun and growing company!
You will have the following key skills:
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues
- Positive and friendly attitude with a passion for customer service
- Highly organised with a strong eye for detail
- Enthusiastic approach with the desire to exceed guests expectations
