The Role:
The Cube Hotel is located in Birmingham’s iconic building ‘The Cube’. Our hotel proudly homes the prestigious Marco Pierre White Steak House Bar Grill Restaurant on Level 25 which offers our guests luxurious surroundings, quality dining and stunning panoramic 360o views across the city’s skyline.
As Restaurant Reservationist you will form part of our small in-house sales team and will handle all guest bookings and enquiries over the telephone and via email. You will accurately capture booking details and specific guest requests and will then communicate with all departments ensuring an outstanding visit for guests. You should be an expert on menu options, promotions, and restaurant facilities to ensure sales are maximised and guests are always fully informed.
Requirements:
The ideal person will have at least a year’s experience in a similar position and will have the ability to deliver great service to our guests.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, that is reliable and willing to learn as part of this growing team.
Duties will include:
- Ensuring all sales enquiries are dealt with in a timely and proactive manner.
- Delivering pleasant and efficient customer service to all stakeholders.
- Keeping up to date with the Hotel’s sales selling strategy.
- Ensuring all appropriate departments are informed of any guest specific requirements.
- Good PC literacy ensuring bookings are accurately entered onto the system.
- Ability to work unsupervised and with initiative.
- Able to utilising excellent communication skills to promptly answer phone calls, email booking enquiries and complaints.
- Excellent team worker with exceptional organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Undertaking of all training as required.
