ABOUT US:
We are London’s most iconic Italian delicatessen and restaurant, with locations all across London. First opened in 1944, Lina Stores is known for its fresh, handmade pasta, meats, cheeses, antipasti and many more products — all imported from Italy! Guests can enjoy our Italian dishes in our restaurant and take away the ingredients from our deli to recreate their Italian feast at home. We also have an online shop which allows customers to order online quickly and easily with seamless deliveries straight to their front door. All of this requires preparation, which is done in our very own production kitchen in Peckham, Cucina da Lina, where we develop our high-quality Italian recipes.
As our Reservations Assistant, you are the first point of contact for all our reservations by being responsible for managing day-to-day reservation enquiries and guest requests as and when they come in. Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a continuously excellent customer experience through all guest communications and ensuring all enquiries are being answered in a friendly and timely manner.
This is a split role over five days. Three days will be in Central Reservations (10am- 7pm). Two days will be in one of our sites to better understand how our restaurants are managed.

What will I be doing?
- Facilitate the centralised reservations function for Lina Stores
- Answer all calls and emails
- Manage bookings and enquiries
- Ensure all guest feedback is raised and forwarded through the appropriate channels
- Be an expert on our booking platform, training teams and troubleshooting any issues
What do I need?
- Experience in high-volume restaurant reservations, ideally by having used
- Love restaurants and hospitality
- Excellent at customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, friendly, can-do attitude
- Forward planning and time management skills
- Highly organised and ability to multitask with superior attention to detail
- Solution-oriented and self-driven
