Assessments on the exposed organism will include on growth, behaviour, tissue histopathology, gene responses ( via RNAseq) as well as the use of transgenic fish and advanced imaging methods to help understand the chemical effect mechanisms.
The post holder will also support the project team in data analysis, report writing and writing of research papers.
The post will offer great opportunities for gaining skill training in-life experimental studies, fieldwork, and molecular and cutting edge imaging methods. The successful applicant will also be part of a large vibrant research team lead by Professor Charles Tyler in which the researchers and technical support team study a very wide range of topics in biological and environmental science.
