Overview
As a Research Manager, you will lead and shape the way research sits at the heart of all the work we do at Billion Dollar Boy. You will help identify unique, thought provoking insights to represent the voice of the consumer and represent culture, underpinning our advertising ideas.
You will work closely with the client and internal teams to research markets, creators and conversations. Your work will be integral to support the Strategy and Creative teams shape industry leading approaches and work.
Responsibilities
You will be working within the Strategy team (reporting into the Strategy Director) and aligning closely with the Data, Paid Media and Account Management teams.
Supporting on a variety of new business and retained client work
Management of third party research tools and vendor relationships, ensuring we utilise them to their maximum potential across a range of briefs
Identifying where to get relevant qualitative and quantitative research
Working closely with the Data team to automate and innovate outputs
Helping to educate and upskill team members on how to best use research
Monitoring trends and conversations for always-on projects and reactive campaigns
Always asking questions, looking for new insights and using that knowledge to map opportunities for the future
Adept in lateral, analytical and strategic thinking; you will be able to apply creative thinking to business problems.
Skilful in differentiating an interesting observation from an informative and insightful piece of research.
Confident in understanding the updates, analytics and research capabilities of all the major social media platforms.
A strong understanding of how your work informs Strategy.
Highly numerate and able to understand, interpret and use complex and varied sources of data and statistics.
Strong and persuasive communicators, able to simplify research and strategic thinking.
Fascinated by human behaviour, social trends, and how ideas influence people.
Confident at presenting ideas and proactive in sharing thoughts and discoveries.
A genuine interest in influencer and creator marketing is a huge plus
