Research Fellow in Polymer Synthesis and Reactor Engineering
Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have an established background in polymer chemistry and flow chemistry? Do you want to further your career in one of the UKs leading research-intensive universities?
A six-month position is available to design and synthesise polymers containing functional groups which can control polymer architecture and self-assembly via RAFT and anionic polymerisation.
Holding a PhD (or have submitted your thesis before taking up the role) involving polymer synthesis within continuous tubular reactors; you will have the ability to code for the purposes of remote controlling instrumentation and implementing multi-objective self-optimisation algorithms.
