This is a Fixed term post for 9 months
We are a small, friendly team who undertake a range of data analysis, evaluation, research, and improvement projects across Specialist Children’s Services in NHSGGC. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who can also work independently, to assist with our audit, evaluation and research work. The purpose of this fixed term post is to support and enhance the care of clients within Specialist Children’s Services, across all sectors of care by providing research and evaluation support. Recent work relevant to this role has included a national review of intensive psychiatric provision, interviews with clinicians regarding engagement, supporting training needs analysis, evaluation of new service developments, and reporting on patient feedback. This fixed term post will have a particular focus on supporting the evaluation of the new Infant Mental Health Service within NHSGGC. The post holder will assist with audit, evaluation, research and improvement projects. This could include literature reviews, preparation of research protocols and ethical submissions, the collection and analysis of quantitative or qualitative data, undertaking interviews and focus groups, reviewing outcome measures, assisting in the dissemination of research and evaluation findings, including writing up papers for publication and presentation to a range of stakeholders. The post holder will also provide support to teams within Specialist Children’s Services to increase their capacity for monitoring, evaluation and research. Strong research skills and experience are required, specifically in the collation of research, evaluation or audit data, data analysis and research communication skills. Experience of working with children and young people would be desirable.
