Are you an experienced clinician and with a research interest looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work across CNWL and Royal Holloway University of London?

We have an exciting opportunity for an innovativeClinical Psychologistto lead a number of workstreams developing research activity in the Trust and at RHUL. This post is a joint post with the RHUL Doctoral training course in Clinical Psychology and so the candidate will be working with the course for 2.5 days (secondment) and with CNWL for 2.5 days.

The successful candidate will work with the Trust Chief Psychologist, Director of Therapies, RHUL Programme Director, senior Psychologists and leaders across the Trust to support the development, implementation, training, and delivery of this very important project. We are looking for applications from highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates who are committed to diversifying and exploring the various opportunities for supporting research activity within Psychology services and teams as well as supporting Doctoral level research.

Psychology in CNWL has strong leadership and a distinct professional identity. TAs a Trust, we are committed to staff development and as such we are keen to invest in the development of practitioners who join our teams so we will work with you to consider how to enhance your knowledge, skills, clinical practice, leadership and confidence in working in this area further.

Mapping any current research projects underway at CNWL including those specific to psychological services.

Co-ordinating a Trust wide research special interest group & links between CNWL & RHUL staff to enable the development & delivery of an expanded portfolio of research.

Develop & deliver research training to trainee & qualified clinical psychologists for Psychology staff.

Supervising trainee clinical psychology research projects; both service-related research and Doctoral level theses.

There are no clinical sessions assigned to this post but clinical time can be negotiated if requested.
