Job description
Clearance: Ability to obtain SC clearance – Must be resident in the UK for 5 years or more.
SRC UK recruiting a R, D & I/OSINT Specialist to assist with current and future projects. Applicants must demonstrate a keen interest in specialist OSINT software and analytical tools.
Responsibilities
· Contribute to OSINT projects for a diverse range of stakeholders.
· Capture customer data needs through the identification of gaps and pain points across the business.
· Horizon scanning for new data opportunities.
· Contribute to data strategy development and business process improvements.
· Engagement with stakeholders and delivery of technical reports and presentations to non-technical audiences.
· Quantitative and qualitative research, analysis and report drafting.
· Assisting with developing in-house policies and best practice pertaining to OSINT activities.
· Conduct ad hoc OSINT investigations and produce high quality reports based on your findings.
Requirements
· A keen interest in emerging technologies and exploitation of open-source data with an ability to grasp technical concepts.
· Excellent writing skills and the ability to analyse and present complex findings to stakeholders.
· Adaptable in a demanding environment, with the ability to think independently and overcome technical challenges.
· Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
· A willingness to work alongside the Ministry of Defence.
Desirable Skills
· Knowledge of OSINT tradecraft, techniques, and tools.
· Python or other general purpose programming languages.
· Knowledge of the commercial and open-source data landscape.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
