This is an exciting opportunity for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to join the TTG translational research team to investigate dynamic radiotherapy induced immune tumour biomarkers in tumour and blood across a range of cancer types. This post involves the processing and analysis of samples from patients receiving radiotherapy and radiotherapy/ immunotherapy combination therapies.

Using multi-disciplinary expertise, the Manchester RadNet team will work to address the challenges of diverse patient characteristics to achieve individualised physical and biological targeting based on real-time outcomes and work towards a deep mechanistic understanding of immune response, comorbidity, and genomics. The Centres and Units funded by the Cancer Research UK Radiation Network (RadNet) will work together to provide national leadership and vision and develop and grow the radiation research base within the UK. The post will be based at the newly redeveloped Paterson Building at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust site in Withington, Manchester.
