Job description
The National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) funds Biomedical Research Centres (BRCs) as experimental medicine centres of excellence via competitive application every five years. Manchester Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) has recently been renewed over five years to provide experimental medicine infrastructure funding across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and South Cumbria. The Clinical Research Facilities (CRF) provides dedicated buildings, equipment, and laboratories for experimental research. We are successfully driving early phase research forward, making a valuable contribution to the health of our local population and beyond.
These posts are for three research associates to deliver the inclusive research strategy of the BRC and CRF, under the guidance of the Inclusive Research Oversight Board (IROB). You will be required to travel within Greater Manchester and Lancashire, including Preston and Blackpool. You will be responsible for delivering the rapid cycle evaluation of the BRC and CRF as well as providing support to Clusters and Themes on inclusive research. We are looking for researchers with post-doctoral skills or equivalent in qualitative, quantitative and/or mixed methodology evaluation.
