ShareThe Department Psychology is seeking a Research Associate to work on an exciting project!
About the role
The aim of this project is to address questions about the overlap between Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and mental health problems (such as anxiety, depression) and co-occurring developmental disorders (such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD). It will include secondary data analysis of existing longitudinal cohort data (Pathways: http://www.asdpathways.ca/home), using advanced longitudinal analysis, such as structural equation modelling.
This role will involve conceptualizing research questions, preparing and analysing data, writing manuscripts for journal publication, and preparing conference presentations. The position will also involve working closely with collaborators to provide methodological and analytical support to advance secondary data analysis focused on mental health trajectories, risk and protective factors in the Pathways sample.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 per week) fixed term basis with an expected end date of 31/03/2024.
About you
- PhD in a relevant subject area of direct relevance for the project.
- Experience analysing or collecting data from developmental populations
- Excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Dedication to working within professional and ethical codes of conduct.
