About us
The Research Department of Primary Care and Population Health (PCPH) is part of the Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care and is headed by Professor Fiona Stevenson. The Department’s strategic aim is to deliver high quality teaching in community-based primary care and public health and to undertake a programme of internationally competitive multi-disciplinary research addressing the management and prevention of disease in individuals and populations in areas which are of priority to the health of the public.
About the role
The main role of the post will be to manage the day to day aspects of the research study and carry out the data collection phase including, recruitment of participants, undertaking semi-structured qualitative interviews, analysis of qualitative data, and writing reports.
Salary is (£34,502 - £36,348 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance for 1 FTE) . This equates to £27,601 - £29,078 at O.8 FTE this role is offered at.

About you
You will have:
- Good undergraduate degree (at least 2:1) in a relevant social science subject (e.g. psychology or a health-related discipline)
- Experience of working with people with health conditions (in a research, clinical, caring or voluntary capacity) and of recruiting participants to research studies
- Experience of conducting qualitative interviews
- Experience of qualitative data analysis including interview data and thematic analysis
