Job description
We are seeking a researcher with experience in writing academic papers and in global health politics, reviews, qualitative research, community-based health research, and/or process evaluation.
The successful applicant will join a team working on the SPICES project (Scaling-up Packages of Interventions for Cardiovascular disease prevention in selected sites in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa). The Sussex SPICES team has worked locally with four Sussex-based community organisations to train community volunteers to deliver a CVD risk prevention health-coaching intervention to their peers in each community.
As all data is largely collected, the candidate will assist with analyzing qualitative and other data and political and policy documents on all aspects of the implementation process and the wider inequality discourse, write up outputs for publication and other dissemination formats.
