Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual interested in sensory neuroscience to join the Hearing Research group which is interested in studying the development and function of the mammalian auditory system, using 2-photon imaging applied to ex vivo and in vivo model systems. You will join the group led by Professor Walter Marcotti at the University of Sheffield to provide research support for a newly awarded Wellcome Trust grant.

The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team with several Research Associates and PhD students is also essential.
The ideal candidate will have a good Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline, significant experience working in a laboratory and experience of animal surgery.
