Human Factors and Ergonomics
The successful candidate will be joining the Made Smarter Innovation Centre for Human-led Digitalisation. This exciting project examines how digital technologies can be effectively introduced into new “Industry 4.0” workplace with a special regard to making this process effective through the positive support for human capabilities and the creation of good quality work. The Centre is based across three partner universities (Bath, Nottingham, and Loughborough) and encompasses a wide range of industrial partners across the full sweep of UK industry.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a project designed to help shape the future of work and to develop the Human Factors methods and theories to make it possible.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to bringing a human centric perspective into what is typically considered a technical field and will join out multidisciplinary project MSI Centre team together with the Human Factors Research Group at Nottingham.
The role will be either a Research Associate, Fellow or Senior Research Fellow depending on experience of the successful candidate.
This position is offered on a fixed term contract until 28 February 2025. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
