Job description
Applications are invited for a Psychology Assistant Research Worker post (Band 4) for 1 year at Sussex Partnership NHS foundation trust, starting August 2023.
The post is an exciting opportunity to be part of the STAR (Study of Trauma and Recovery) STAR trial, a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded multisite Randomised Controlled Trial to evaluate a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for psychosis (TF-CBTp) for people with post-traumatic stress and psychosis symptoms.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with international experts in the field of psychological therapies for trauma and psychosis. They will work as part of a team of research assistants, researchers and therapists both locally in Sussex, but also nationally. This is a vibrant research group, with lots of opportunities to get involved.
There will be opportunities for CPD activities, to attend talks and to contribute to papers which will derive from the trial and be published in peer reviewed journals.
The candidate will be supported to develop their career alongside the demands of the study.
