Our team: The Clinical Assessment business is a trusted leader in the development and distribution of assessments for health and education professionals. Our tools are used extensively in research as well as clinical practice.
The role: A unique and exciting opportunity exists to work within Pearson Clinical Assessment on the research and development of gold-standard clinical assessments used by Australian and New Zealand allied health professionals. This work includes literature reviews, cultural/language test adaptation, test item development, participant and data collection site recruitment and coordination, normative data collection, equivalency and validation research, digital assessment testing, data management, as well as various administrative tasks related to the research and development process.
What you will do:
- Coordinating and distributing research materials.
- Supporting recruitment for the research projects as required and maintaining up-to-date stakeholder communication.
- Ethics submission writing, editing and proof-reading and editing of manuscripts and reports.
- Providing project administrative support as required including data entry and data management.
- Other duties as required related to the adaptation, development, and publication of clinical assessments.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Minimum fourth year University qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology or related allied health field.
- Demonstrated experience in research fieldwork.
- Proactive, problem-solving, and team-orientated approach.
