We are looking to recruit a Research and Policy Assistant to join our team improving the lives of children and young people in England and Wales.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting NYAS’ policy and research programme which will involve working closely with our partners in academic institutions on research projects and working with students to produce quality research on a range of topics. You will identify trends and issues to improve public policy and legislation.
You will also be responsible for managing and coordinating our volunteer campaign advisors who are care-experienced young people who support us and help shape our campaigns programme. You will also help strengthen the involvement of care-experienced children and young people in decision making across NYAS.
You will also have the opportunity to engage with alliances and networks across the UK to strengthen our influencing position and activity.
To be considered you must be passionate about making a difference. You must also have excellent research, analytical and writing skills.
