As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines, and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. About the Team:
The Radiosynthesis team provides carbon-14 radiolabelling and re-purification services through synthetic organic chemistry and purification science for clients to support their products in onward Regulatory Metabolism studies.
Internship Assignment Summary:
Support our Study Directors in the practical aspects of synthesis of compounds using a range of techniques and analytical equipment through training and guidance.
Gain experience and training to perform purifications of organic compounds using chromatography techniques.
Interpretation of analytical data
Follow SOPs, Study Plans and GLP to perform laboratory work and write up of experimental procedures and results.
Develop your communication skills, teamwork and your understanding of regulatory drug development.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Working towards bachelor’s degree/MChem/MSci in Chemistry or equivalent degree.
Be performing at a high level with strong communication and team working skills
Some knowledge of organic chemistry and purification techniques with previous work experience in laboratory preferred.
