As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines, and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. About the Team:

The Radiosynthesis team provides carbon-14 radiolabelling and re-purification services through synthetic organic chemistry and purification science for clients to support their products in onward Regulatory Metabolism studies.

Internship Assignment Summary:

  • Support our Study Directors in the practical aspects of synthesis of compounds using a range of techniques and analytical equipment through training and guidance.

  • Gain experience and training to perform purifications of organic compounds using chromatography techniques.

  • Interpretation of analytical data

  • Follow SOPs, Study Plans and GLP to perform laboratory work and write up of experimental procedures and results.

  • Develop your communication skills, teamwork and your understanding of regulatory drug development.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Working towards bachelor’s degree/MChem/MSci in Chemistry or equivalent degree.

  • Be performing at a high level with strong communication and team working skills

  • Some knowledge of organic chemistry and purification techniques with previous work experience in laboratory preferred.
