Data and Reporting Analyst – Remote
Our client provides a number of high-quality services that support older people in Hampshire. These include the provision of Day Care Centres, assisting NHS patients with Hospital-to-Home Services, provision of Information Services, and the recently launched Help in the Home Service. They have around 100 employees and 60 volunteers with a turnover of £2M.
They are currently looking for a Data and Reporting Analyst to join them on a part-time, permanent basis.
Salary: £15k (£19.23/hour)
Part-time: 15 hours per week (3 days/week, 5 hours/day)
18 days of holiday
Location: Remote. Our client's office is based in Locks Heath, so the successful candidate will need to be based in the Southampton/Portsmouth area.
Immediate start

About the Role:
The Data and Reporting Analyst will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Operational Leadership Team to develop, agree, and maintain appropriate reporting requirements for all areas of the business. A key part of the role will be to provide reliable reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to internal and external audiences. Proactively communicating and sharing insights from data reporting and analysis will require an individual with strong communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement performance metrics that can be used to make decisions to improve business operational efficiency.
- Effective ownership and management of data collection and KPI reporting.
- Work with the operational and support teams (e.g., HR and Finance) to ensure information for reporting is provided on a timely basis.
- Undertake in-depth analysis and modeling of operational information and present findings in a clear and concise manner to the Operational Leadership Team for decision-making purposes.
- Support the Finance Department in the preparation of financial reports and annual budgets.
- Partner with all parts of the business to capture ongoing and new reporting needs and requirements.
- Create interactive dashboards so that there is clear visibility of results across the organization.
- Ensure in-depth understanding of systems (e.g., Charity Log).
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a reporting and data-focused role.
- Analytical skills to collect, organize, and evaluate performance data and operational metrics and be able to identify potential problems and trends.
- Advanced Excel skills are required (data functions, lookup, pivot tables).
- Commercial mindset that can identify how the outputs can affect the sustainability of the charity.
- Experience in Operational Management would be advantageous.
