As our Performance Reporting Analyst, you will analyse and document business partner reporting needs to develop metrics, scorecards, dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop reports for the key stakeholders to meet operational and performance reporting needs.

Your new role
The successful person will support the delivery of high quality reporting, analysis and commentary on the monthly/quarterly management result and other deliverables as required.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Deliver quality reports by analysing and testing data, escalating issues as required to troubleshoot errors and ensure valid information
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to document and deliver ad-hoc data needs as well as special projects
- Provide effective customer service by analysing trends and communicating with internal key stakeholders to clarify customer goals and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Participate in the implementation of reporting tools by monitoring industry trends and best practices
- Provide support in data testing and become a subject matter expert on appropriate new tools for specialized data projects
- Maintain and facilitate various programs for Information Technology, including IT onboarding and training, Business Continuity Planning, Operating Model support
- Assist in the gathering and analyzing of vendor performance and financial information to understand and communicate trends and improvement areas
Your story so far
In order to thrive in the role as a Performance Reporting Analyst at QBE, we would expect you to have experience and knowledge in most of the following areas:
- Comfortable working directly with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Ability to review and propose improvements to existing processes as well creating and implementing new processes
- Highly motivated with ability to work very well in a team or independently, consulting and involving others appropriately in the wider function and business
- Assume a methodical approach to problem-solve and evaluate complex data
- Understand the needs and goals of a customer and actively look for ways to meet them
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience of interrogating ledgers and financial systems (e.g. Oracle) to extra data
- Previous experience within the Insurance industry would be beneficial
