Glasgow Opportunities
We are looking for motivated and dynamic individuals with a passion for delivering excellent customer service to join our busy contact centre and repayment teams in Glasgow with positions available within our Customer Service teams.
Our Repayments Officers are responsible for assisting our customers after entering repayments by providing excellent customer service whilst using various communication channels. Including but not limited to inbound and outbound calls, email correspondence, letter and social media.
Working Patterns and Start Dates
SLC offers a blended working model where you can typically work 3 days at home with 2 days in the office, but we know this might not suit everyone and we can offer full time office working instead – the option is yours!
We offer permanent 37.5 hr contracts and the typical working patterns for our Glasgow site are:
· Customer Service: Monday to Friday between 8am – 6pm
To join our contact centre or assessment teams in Glasgow you must demonstrate the following:
· Experience in working in a customer-focussed role, preferably within a high-volume contact centre or processing environment.
· A minimum of grade C GCSE English and Maths (or Standard grade) or equivalent level qualification.
· Excellent IT skills, with significant experience working with MS Office, email and multiple software platforms.
· A passion for customer service with the ability to understand customers’ needs and a desire to deliver high standards.
· The ability to use your own initiative whilst working within defined guidelines and adapt to changing working environments, in a positive manner.
· The ability to communicate clearly and effectively through a variety of channels including telephone, email, and letter.
· A commitment to continue your own learning and development whilst maintaining the key knowledge and skills required for your role.
