Role Summary

The successful applicant will join a small and friendly warehouse team, where they will be responsible for the repacking of bulk materials, which will then be sent to the customer. Proactively contributing to the team by solving issues and participating in other warehouse tasks from time to time.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the repacking equipment in accordance with the SHE and operational procedures to ensure safe, efficient repacking to meet the business quality and volume requirements.
  • Working proactively with other team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Prepare equipment for maintenance, carry out maintenance work within own competence and use the defect system when the maintenance work is outside own ability or availability.
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager to propose new solutions and implement them via site standards.

What We are looking for

  • An individual with a team-working mentality, actively engaging in team-based work.
  • A clear communication style, reporting any issues and defects to the shift manager.
  • Flexibility to work in a 3-week shift rotation pattern.
  • The successful applicant will show a willingness to learn about other warehouse duties.

Qualifications

  • Forklift truck drivers licence is preferable
  • Previous experience in warehouse/ store processes is an advantage
  • GCSE Mathematics and English are the desirable minimum qualification
