What is the purpose of the role?
The Rent Collection Assistant role ensures that customers receive the correct advice on paying their rent an on arrears or outstanding housing benefit at the end of their tenancies and will refer to other agencies if needed. The Rent Collection Assistant actively seeks full payment of outstanding rent arrears and negotiates repayment arrangements.
Why is the role important?
This role offers support and advice and ensures effective action is taken to recover rent arrears from customers who are ending their tenancy. This helps ensure customers fulfil their rent obligations and make sustainable payments and that Bolton at Home remains a financially viable organisation.

All offers of employment will be made at the starting point of the relevant pay grade. Annual pay incremental rises will apply until the maximum increment point of the grade*.
