About the Role
As Administration Assistant you will support and coordinate the smooth running of all functions across the wider SSE Renewables business including the provision of executive support to the SSE Renewables Executive Committee members as required.
Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Reading, Havant or Dublin.
Salary: €31,600 - €47,300/£20,700-£31,100 + performance related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
In the role of Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Purchase Order & Manual Payment administration including expenses and credit card tracking
- Complex and high frequency travel booking, including across multiple time zones
- Stakeholder management, both internal and external, ensuring SSE Renewables is well represented at all times
- Diary and email management, including identifying points of escalation and forward planning as well as effective planning, preparation and organisation of meetings as required.
- Additional ad hoc duties as required, including maintenance and updating of the hospitality register as well as assisting with the on boarding of new starters and providing cover and support for SSE Renewables PA’s when required.

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Impeccable organisational skills and excellent written communication skills.
- Excellent listening skills, able to engage others and keep calm under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to understand needs of Directors and able to act on own initiative to resolve issues
- Reliability, discretion, and an understanding of confidential issues.
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of Office 365 suite.
