Orchard Orthodontics is a long-established multi-site practice, looking to recruit an Remote Telephone Receptionist to join their dynamic team. The role will be remote- working from home. We take great pride in our patient-focused approach, with the majority of patients attending through word of mouth recommendation. The role involves providing patients with the highest standard of customer service and ensuring that all patients have a flawless journey from first contact to initial consultation right through to after care. The job of the receptionist requires organisation, responsibility, patience, understanding and empathy when dealing with patients.
Key Objectives:
- Be the first line of communication – greeting patients who call in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer all incoming telephone calls in accordance with company policy
- Deal with patient requirements in an efficient and courteous manner, ensuring patient requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other colleagues to achieve a high standard of patient satisfaction
- Promote excellent patient and public relations to help grow the practice
- Act as an ambassador, representing and demonstrating the brand values
- following leads efficiently with the intention of converting to sales
Main Duties:
- Answer all incoming calls in a timely, professional and confident manner
- Assist in finding the right information and assisting patients in a professional manner
- Chasing leads and booking into diary
- Qualify calls in an efficient manner to ensure patient satisfaction (right first time)
- Ensure all patient records are kept up to date and be responsible for managing the consultant diaries to ensure the clinic is running efficiently.
- Maintain an ongoing rapport with patients
- Take clear messages and deliver them in an efficient way
- General administration including answering phone calls, booking the diary, maintaining and updating computerised patient notes, medical administration, liaising with external labs etcSupport team colleagues as and when required
- Attend training courses as deemed necessary by Line Managers
- Accurately and efficiently liaise all relevant information between staff.

Position: Part-time
Hours: 6pm-9pm Monday-Thursday (12 hours per week)
