TEKEVER, the market leader in Unmanned Maritime Surveillance and the first to provide a BVLOS UAS commercial service in the UK, are looking to hire a Remote Pilot for fixed wing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
As a Remote Pilot with us you will be working within a highly skilled team to carry out intelligence driven mission scenarios and ensuring the delivery of information to our customers. It will be your responsibility to plan missions based on customer requirements and to provide effective operations with a world class product. On a daily basis you will be using TEKEVERs highly intuitive Ground Control Station to operate UAVs ranging from 5kg-180kg and making sure that missions are carried out safely. You will gain first-hand experience managing communications with ATC and deconflicting with manned aviation platforms that will be operating in the vicinity.
For the right candidate there may be the opportunity to perform Liaison Officer (LO) duties. LO duties can be discussed during the interview process.
As a Remote Pilot you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining your own currency and competency on the platforms that you will receive training for.
- Controlling the payload using the GCS.
- Ensuring the safe conduct of flight operations when deployed.
- Supporting the RPIC in all flight activities (Pre and Post)
- Monitoring and managing your own rest and medical status.
- Conducting Simulation flights to train and maintain currency.
- Communicating with ATC and other Aircraft for deconfliction when required.
- Remotely piloting the system and navigating safely using the GCS
- Being an ambassador for flight safety at all times.
- Remaining familiar with all System documentation, operational procedures, local flying orders.
As you will be flying state of the art unmanned systems we do require you to have some essential skills of course. These essential skills are:
- Aviation knowledge including Ground School and live flying on any type of aircraft.
- Understanding of MET and Airspace.
- A1 and A3 certificates
- Well-organized, good team player, problem-solving approach. Approachable, diplomatic and charismatic.
- Good level of Maths & Physics.
- High level of situational awareness.
It would be great if you could demonstrate any of the following:
- Pilot License (LAPL/PPL/HPL…etc).
- MALE/HALE UAS Platform Certified (H900/H450/WK/MQ) or MUAS Certified (Puma/DH3/Raven).
- Flight Radiotelephony Operating License.
- Flown MUAS/MALE platforms.
- Military flying including instructional duties.
- Overseas Operational flying experience.
- Multiple years’ experience flying UAS.
- Multiple UAS Deployments.
- A2 Certificate of Competence.
- UAS Industry Knowledge (Aircraft/Sensors/Systems).

Location
To be part of a world class UAV provider, you will be required to deploy around the world with a small team with the opportunity to work from home when not deployed.
DRIVING & TRAVEL Due to our varied customer base and global reach, international travel will be required from time to time. All candidates need to have a current passport. Also, due to the location of the facilities, and requirements to often travel inside the UK either to customer sites or as part of trials/projects, a full, clean UK driving licence is required.
