Job description
Oxbridge are keen to speak with people who are qualified teachers (PGCE, DET5 or CERT Ed and who hold an assessing qual (D32/D33 / D34, A1 or CAVA) and have teaching / assessing experience and who are familiar with and have experience of, delivering OTLAs (observations of teaching, learning and assessment) and giving feedback on these.
We're looking for assessors who can undertake observation activities in regions across the UK to support our distance learning students by observing their practical teaching activities for our: Diploma in Teaching & Education Level 5, Award in Education and Training Level 3, Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement Level 3. This role is freelance and this advert is for the NORFOLK / KINGS LYNN / PETERBOROUGH region.
You will need experience of delivering these courses and have experience of conducting and giving feedback on OTLAs. You need to be able to provide evidence of your teaching and assessing qualifications, along with a current enhanced DBS, preferably on the update service.
You will be responsible for recording the observation of a learner (or groups of learners) on pre-arranged dates set by us within the region around which you can travel. You will be paid a day rate, plus travel expenses at current HMRC rates.
