The Role

As a Remembrance Events Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the team on numerous large-scale commemorative events, assisting the team with public facing enquiries, accreditation support, and managing administrative aspects of the larger events.
If successful, the main duties of your role will be:
- To provide an excellent event administrative service for the team; recording event data, preparing letters and other correspondence, and assisting with event planning.
- Responsible for monitoring and answering the Remembrance Department inboxes, and dealing with public facing enquiries where necessary.
- Booking team travel, when necessary. Including car hire and train/ferries
- Assisting the team with event accreditation including date entry and distribution of passes/tickets
Please note that this role can be based at our London office, which is located at Haig House, 199 Borough High Street, London SE1 1AA, or can be Home based. London Weighting will be offered to candidates based at Haig House with an expectation to attend the London office regularly (minimum of 2 days per week). Candidates taking up the role on a remote basis from Home will not be eligible for London Weighting.
Furthermore, during busy times such as Events, candidates will be expected to travel to various locations and offices. All travel costs will be expensed.
