Smiths the Bakers are a traditional family bakery established over 50 years and Royal Warrant holders for over 30 years.
The bakery is located on Hardwick Narrows Industrial Estate King's Lynn PE30 4BH.
We deliver within a 30 mile radius of King's Lynn and need an additional van driver to cover holiday and sick leave.
Deliveries are to shops, schools, cafes etc.
Applicants must be trustworthy, flexible, reliable and prepared to do hours when required between 4am-10am. Sometimes at short notice. although holiday cover is known in advance (covering approximately 28 weeks a year).
Applicants must have a full clean drivers licence and be over the age of 30 years for vehicle insurance. Knowledge of the area would be beneficial, as would past van driving experience.
This position would be ideal for a retired person, looking to keep active.
Training on delivery routes and customers will be provided.
Uniform is supplied.
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
