We're looking for a Relief Multi Drop Delivery Driver to deliver our award winning veg boxes to our customer doorsteps from our distribution hub based in Battersea, London

Salary: £15.13 per hour, paid monthly (£31,470 per annum)

Location – Covering New Covent Garden rounds across Central London and Greater London (Must be based within reasonable commutable distance from Battersea, SW8 5NX)

This role is a Permanent Contract, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (Including Bank Holidays). Start and finish times vary, we usually arrive at the hub between the hours of 4am to 6am and finish when all of the veg boxes have been delivered. Each delivery route is built on 8 hour round trip however, flexibility is required.

What you’ll be doing…

You’re Riverford’s #1 ambassador, and the friendly face of the business for most customers! We pride ourselves on being at the heart of our community of customers and our valued delivery drivers have great relationships with each one, taking the time and care to ensure each veg box arrives in perfect condition and carefully delivered to our customers preferred location.

As a Relief Driver you be asked to cover driving rounds that you are unfamiliar with and travelling further afield as and when required, which may on occasion require an overnight stay.

We are looking for safe & responsible multi drop driving experience as we deliver an average of 70-80 plus, drops veg boxes per day, which will increase at busier times of the year.

Delivering even greener veg

We’re swapping diesel vans to electric vehicles wherever range permits it (some of our more rural routes are too long for the range of electric vehicles at the moment). Van for van, this change will reduce emissions by up to 70%
