Job description

We are looking to recruit a relief ACT to work across our Lancashire pharmacies. We are looking for someone who has a passion for learning, with a genuine interest in community pharmacy and the services it offers to the public. The successful candidate will be supported by one of our experienced managers with all aspects of their learning along with an opportunity to taste what pharmacy is like across other aspects within the community such as high street pharmacy medipak dispensing, Atlas Care \home systems, BD Rowa original pack robots, methameasure, new PMR systems such as Titan, covid-19 vaccination services and much more. The successful candidate will be prepared to cover both holidays for our existing ACTs and work as a dispenser supporting branches with high volumes of dispensing and clinical services.

The successful candidate will be trained to deliver NHS Health Checks, Flu and other vaccination services, Blood Pressure Monitoring, Atrial Fibrillation screening services, as well as any other new or existing NHS and private services the company offers.

We are willing to discuss working patterns and salary with the right candidate depending on experience and requirements. This role is advertised with a range from 24-40 hours per week, and we are willing to consider job share options with the right candidates

Essential

  • Passion for healthcare
  • Demonstrate examples of great customer interaction inside or outside of the business.
  • Able to travel to our Lancashire branches and willing to work flexibly within the various opening and closing hours
  • Passionate about making a difference to health outcomes within Lancashire
  • Previous experience in a busy pharmacy
  • GPhC Registered Technician
  • NVQ Level3/BTEC 3 or 4
  • prepared to work flexibly outside of working hours to support local initiatives and events such as offering health checks at local libraries, business to business events etc
  • Willingness to be trained to also deliver NHS Health Checks, Stop Smoking Service, BP Service and support other services such as Travel Clinics and Private PGDs..
  • Can Clearly demonstrate examples of teamwork and handling complex customer situations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £16,224.00-£30,160.00 per year
