Role Purpose
Join the UHNW International team as a junior RM, reporting to the Senior RM/MD and the MD/Desk Head. The role will have geographical coverage of the UHNW International team: UK RNDs from continental Europe and emerging markets.
As the team intends to grow further its already significant book of UHNW French clients. The UHNW international team is extremely focused on investments, listed markets and private equity, Lombard lending and large bespoke credit transactions covering trophy assets financing to meet its revenue targets. The team uses different booking jurisdictions.
The Relationship Manager will acquire, maintain and grow profitable long-term relationships with UHNW RND plus manage some existing business. The RM will have NNM, Mandate, lending and revenue targets together with the senior MD working as a pod.
The RM will support Team`s growth plan through a number of tasks including but not limited to:
- Originate new UHNW clients through investment AUM, lending and Advisory services from own network.
- Identifying and converting referral opportunities through the Group network.
- Grow revenues across allocated portfolio, successfully manage and serve existing business relationships and originate new revenue streams.
- Grow HSBC’s share of client wallet involving product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirements.
- Co-ordinate origination and execution of activities across the spectrum of Global Banking & Markets products/service.
- Establish and maintain networks for co-operation with other HSBC businesses, to support the creation of solutions to customer needs that span geographical/product boundaries and regulatory environments.
- Combine client relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities
Key Skills & Experience:
- Minimum Level 6 qualification (PCIAM or equivalent).
- Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will need to be fluent in French as well as English
- Demonstrable track record of client portfolio management and new client acquisition within our target segment.
- Deep understanding of financial markets and complex wealth management solutions as applicable to the target client segment including lending solutions.
- Track record of building successful relationships with both an internal and external referral network is preferred.
