Codeweavers are part of the Retail division of Cox Automotive Europe. We are leaders in the provision of retail solutions to the automotive industry. JOB ROLE

You will be interested in digital technology and are keen to work with our partners and internal teams to drive forward the development of our products and platform.

You will have a desire to always question things and understand why things are the way they are and how they work. You will have a passion to improve things and you will be empowered to do this at Codeweavers.

You will work with all areas of the business such as sales, product, development, design and marketing. You will play a key role in shaping the direction of the platform and in moving forward our clients’ businesses.

You will love working with autonomy, within a close knit team, towards common goals. You will be working alongside, and be supported by, a highly skilled software engineering team.

You will build deep technical knowledge of Codeweavers Commerce Platform and the automotive industry and will be heavily involved in the process of scoping out exactly how the clients needs will be met from a technical perspective. You will be pivotal in moving the platform forward.

You will be expected to have a detailed understanding of our technologies and use this knowledge to identify potential opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO

You will;

  • Be at the forefront of an industry which is going through the biggest changes in decades.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the platform and identify opportunities to develop it to meet the changing industry demands.
  • Work with large clients (and their partners) such as BMW, VW, Hyundai etc potentially across multiple markets.
  • Work with our marketing teams to develop the story we will tell to grow our reach and to win new business.
  • Question and challenge clients requests to get into the real problems which we need to solve. You will keep asking ‘Why’?
  • Work alongside local teams within European markets to develop our platform to meet the needs of current & future clients.
  • Be the main point of contact for key partners and / or clients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the direction of our partners business and align this with the Codeweavers goals.
  • Support the product and development teams in realising these goals.
  • Manage commercial and strategic plans between the multiple businesses within the larger organisation.
  • You will be involved in (and potentially lead) the tender process for new opportunities.

Your Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role is required, e.g. account management, project management, business analyst or similar roles.
  • Previous experience in the automotive or finance industry is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working with or managing digital retail products is desirable.
  • Previous experience working with product / platform development is desirable.
  • Previous experience in an agile environment is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a software development environment is an advantage
  • Degree-level education in a relevant subject is an advantage.
  • Experience of making good cups of tea is an advantage.
