The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to join the hard-working and successful South East SME Real Estate & Housing team. We provide outstanding support for businesses within the Real Estate sector and this exciting role is based in the South East.
Joining the South East Real Estate Team, which forms part of a wider Region specialising in Real Estate, you'll be responsible for supporting clients with all their banking needs including lending, deposits and a wide range of other services. There is an expectation to grow the portfolio by promoting the bank with professionals and key influencers in the South East, to develop business opportunities and bring new clients to Lloyds Banking Group. You'll also be responsible for handling the risk and compliance of the portfolio.
Typically you would be involved with the following:
- Providing excellent service to our Clients, putting them at the heart of what you do, adding value at every interaction and becoming a “trusted advisor”.
- Promoting the bank with professionals and key influencers through your knowledge of the local market
- Providing a range of funding solutions to our clients from our Term Lending and Working Capital product range tailoring them to Client needs
- Building relationships with Group Partner companies and through them bring the whole bank to the client delivering products to meet their needs.
- Handling the risk and compliance of your client portfolio
What we'll need from you:
You'll need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the following:
- You'll have extensive Commercial/ Relationship Banking experience with a strong lending capability; able to assess to credit risk of the corporate client
- You'll also need to demonstrate how you're wired into local networks with extensive connections in the professional space and use these for business development opportunities
- You'll be highly proficient at building and maintaining productive relationships with external professionals and adept at winning good volumes of higher value new client relationships.
- You'll use your specialist credit and sector knowledge along with all available digital tools to deliver excellent client experiences whilst identifying ways to grow income, balance sheet and market share and handling associated risks
