Join our Physical Therapy team as a Rehab Therapy Aide at our brand-new Scripps Encinitas Rehab Services Outpatient facility. At this facility, you would join a team of experts to help patients on their road to recovery regardless of severity or ability. We offer a wide spectrum of rehabilitation services, ranging from general rehabilitation care for pain and injuries to distinctive specialty programs for specific medical conditions. Our licensed physical, occupational and speech therapy team members utilize the latest clinical advancements and technology to offer our patients world-class rehabilitation to help achieve the best possible outcome for them. Prior experience in an outpatient rehab setting is preferred and will help the Rehab Therapy Aide to incorporate quickly into this tight-knit team and contribute to maintaining our high standards for the patient experience.
The Rehab Therapy Aide will assist in providing age-appropriate services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including direct treatment, under appropriate licensed supervision, to individuals and groups. They will also provide evaluation and selection of adaptive equipment, participate in quality improvement programs, and documentation of services according to hospital and departmental standards. Additionally, Rehab Therapy Aides will maintain cleanliness of the facility and equipment, assist with restocking and ordering of supplies, and perform clerical duties to assist our staff in efficient and effective patient care.
This position is a Full Time (80 hours every two weeks) benefited position, working 8-hour day shifts (shifts will fall between 6:45am-6:15pm) and is located at our new Scripps Rehab Services outpatient clinic in Encinitas.
Required Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- BLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous related experience and/or college coursework in a related field
