The Role
We are looking to recruit a Registry Operations Officer to work within our Assessments, Awards and Examination Team. A key part of the role will be to support new projects and initiatives, such as the development of our online curriculum offer, through ensuring Registry Operations is continuously developing and enhancing its services, processes and systems to meet the institution’s continuously changing needs.
Registry Operations as a Service is responsible for the delivery of key student lifecycle activity such as enrolment, breaks in study, module section, assessments, continuation, progression, examinations, awards, and certification.
This role will support the operational delivery of our Assessments, Awards and Examination Team who;
- Manage, maintain, and develop student assessment data in our corporate systems (SITS)
- Schedule and organise on campus exams (including invigilation)
- Develop bespoke systems and reporting processes to improve data quality
- Perform upgrade testing and write specifications for system developments
- Support colleagues across Academic Services with preparation for Department Assessment Boards (DABs)
- Develop and deliver training and advice to a wide range of SITs users and key stakeholders
- Print student certificates and awards
- Support Graduation events (both with reporting and attendance as Chief General Stewards)
We are looking for someone to join the service to coordinate and perform the operational management of these activities. The role is supported by other Registry Operations Officers and Registry Operations Managers.
