The salary for this permanent Practitioner Psychologist job is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Main Duties:
- Use your skills and experience in your respective field, to undertake the role of Registered Practitioner Psychologist for a designated ward and/or group of patients as agreed with the head of psychology. This includes assessment, formulation, intervention and evaluation in line with the patient’s presentation and care pathway
- Assess patients using appropriate assessments and psychometric measures and interpret and report results accurately
- Co-ordinate delivery of psychological assessment and intervention from other psychology staff including assistant psychologists and students
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based practices, strategies and policies as requested by the Head of Psychology
Requirements of the Practitioner Psychologist:
- Be HCPC registered
- Have experience within a similar setting
- Experience in supervising assistants and trainees and facilitating reflective practic
- Psychologists must be registered and accredited members of the BACP. (Registered Member MBACP (Accred) or Registered Member MBACP (Snr Accred).)
