About the role
As one of our Nurses, you will:
- Provide the highest possible standard of nursing care for the patients and their families
- Ensure that an on-going welcoming, caring and safe environment is provided for the patients
- Manage the patient pathway including; Undertaking admissions, safe pre-operative preparation, effective post-operative care and the discharge process
- Ensure legibility and accuracy of nursing records
- Monitor and assess patient’s condition and proposing/making changes to care plans as required
- Hand over and transfer responsibility of care to colleagues, ensuring appropriate information and care is relayed
- Administration of medicines and medicines management
- Ensure that nursing procedures are implemented and maintained in accordance with best practice, policy, professional and regulatory requirements
About you
To be considered for the role of Registered Nurse, you’ll need to demonstrate:
- Registered Nurse
- An awareness of research and ability to apply evidence based practice in the clinical setting
- Evidence of continuous professional development & professional revalidation
- Experience in the use of computers
- Good communication skills written & verbal, with the ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity and effectiveness at all levels
- Surgical Nursing experience
- Up to date clinical skills
Part time hours available various shifts Min 30 hours.

- This bonus is offered to those who commence substantive employment within Sulis Hospital between 1st April 2023 - 30th June 2023 in a role dedicated to the hands-on delivery of patient care requiring registration with either the NMC or HCPC. The bonus is paid in two parts, £1500 at the end of your successful completion of your 3-month probation period and £1500 after 12 months of employment. For part time positions this bonus is pro-rata for joiners.
