Hours: 9 hours - Saturdays only
Salary: Starting from £30,599.69 (actual salary £7,751.92) for Registered Nurses and Midwifes / £22,990 (actual salary £5,517.60) for Nursing Associates
About the Registered Nurse/Midwife role
As a Vasectomy Nurse you will be working within our satellite Vasectomy clinics joining a team of both clinical and non-clinical colleagues who empower our clients to make reproductive choices that are right for them.
Assisting the Surgeon in the treatment room, you will ensure all equipment for the treatment is prepared whilst supporting the client and ensuring the clinic runs as smoothly as possible. You can also expect to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment such as ensuring the clients file is fully completed, stock management and discharging clients.
As a Registered Nurse or Midwife with a current NMC pin, you will be provided with a bespoke training package tailored to your clinical experience to equip you in delivering safe and effective vasectomy care to our clients. Previous experience of working within sexual and reproductive health is not a requisite of this role.
Putting client-centred care into practice requires the backing of the whole organisation, we are looking for a passionate and committed Nurse or Midwife to join our team within our Woking and Frimley clinics. Within our Nurse led environment we have well-established protocols and support systems that reinforce a values-driven organisational culture, with a focus on care and leaving no one behind.

Skills
- Ability to work independently and collectively within a close-knit team of both clinicians and non-clinicians
- Strong interpersonal communication skills for supporting our diverse client population
- Excellent record keeping
- Strong clinical knowledge and good analytical skills
- Ability to manage risk effectively, prioritising workloads accordingly
- Good IT skills (full training on internal programs will be provided)
