Immunisation Nurse - South East Essex
Band 5
37.5 hours per week - All year round - Fixed Term Contact - covering maternity leave
Southend/Canvey/Rayleigh
EPUT ‘Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust’ is recruiting for immunisation nurses to work within our Essex wide immunisation service. The service is primarily delivered through a school based model, offering all school aged vaccinations including the intranasal flu vaccination. Additional programmes are offered through community provision at clinics and home visits.

You will be an RN/RMN/RSCN with an interest in children and a good working knowledge of the child health immunisation service. The post holder must have a compassionate manner when dealing with large groups of children and be able to work in a busy school setting.

What is Staff Bank?
Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings. Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.
All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.
If you are joining our Trust in a fixed term role, please indicate on your New Starter Paperwork that you wish to join our staff bank.
The post holder will be responsible for delivery the national school aged immunisation programme through different models within school and community settings. Working within local and national guidelines, utilising PGD's.
A current UK driving licence is essential and access to car for business use.
