We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our well-established Gynaecology team. The ideal applicant should be able to interact with staff and colleagues at all levels, ensuring that the Trust's objectives on nursing and practice are fully embedded.
The Gynaecology Assessment Unit currently has a 6 bedded inpatient area and a 6 chaired assessment unit. The unit can take referrals from GP's, A&E, GPOOH and Midwives. We care for a variety of ladies with gynaecological problems including early pregnancy, elective surgery and gynae oncology patients.
All staff are rotational and also work in the outpatient area where staff assist with clinics such as Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy, Pre-assessment, Minor Ops, Early pregnancy Unit, Pregnancy Advisory and general Consultant clinics.
We are looking to appoint a Registered Nurse with an interest in all aspects of Gynaecological care across the in and outpatient areas. They will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills with a working knowledge of IT. They should be able to demonstrate evidence of continued professional development, be enthusiastic and a motivated team player. They will be confident, display a passion for providing a high standard of nursing and have the ability to be a role model.
We’re a large organisation with three hospitals located in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole. We also provide community services in North Lincolnshire. Our 6,500 members of staff care for and support a population of more than 400,000 people.
