Band 5 - Staff Nurse OPD
As an Outpatient Staff nurse you will be responsible and accountable for the provision of high quality care to all patients who attend the department.
This will encompass flexible working within the outpatient department including across site where required.
The post holder will be responsible for setting a high standard of clinical practice, will manage operational issues on a daily basis, and work collaboratively with all members of the wider patient services and clinical team
Main duties of the job
Come and join our friendly Outpatients team and be instrumental in supporting a patient- centred service to be proud of.
Previous OPD experience not essential, full training and support will be given.

- RGN with evidence of regular updating
Desirable criteria
- Committed to working towards degree level
Experience

- Previous experience in an outpatients setting.
- Minimum 12 months post registration experience
Knowledge & Skills

- Awareness of nursing research / clinical audit
- Appropriate qualifications/ relevant specialist courses

- Teaching certificate or a willingness to work towards
