Are you a skilled and dedicated Specialist Nurse within Dermatology looking to join a dynamic healthcare team?

As a Specialist Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating dermatology patients and manage the clinical environment, in liaison with the management and consultant team.

The nurse will act as an autonomous practitioner in forming clinical decisions and complex management plans in the assessment and treatment of patients.

We work in partnership with several NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups nationwide to provide patients with access to community services closer to their home.

These include Diagnostic Ultrasound, Gynaecology Services, diagnosis and treatment of Dermatological conditions, Ophthalmology services and the provision of extended Minor surgery procedures.

The nurse will act as an autonomous practitioner in forming clinical decisions and complex management plans in the assessment and treatment of patients.


About the role

You will be able to provide high standards of care in various Nurse-led follow-up clinics including:


  • Phototherapy (PUVA/ narrowband UVB)
  • Cryotherapy
  • Nurse Led Follow ups


Applicants will be expected to have an excellent clinical quality record, and an ability to perform efficiently and independently in clinic whilst providing exceptional care.


You will need to demonstrate commitment to excellent teamwork with clinical colleagues and a willingness to utilise and develop clinical care pathways in the overall management of patients and assist in improving these pathways over time.


About you

  • Possession of the relevant nursing licence and registration
  • Minimum 1 year theatre Scrub Nurse experience in general surgery


  • The position is subject to a successful disclosure at the appropriate level from Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and the provision of your right to work documentation.
