Job description

Hebburn court care home, is seeking to employ a qualified nurse from the UK or overseas (Subject to NMC requirements in the UK). The home has friendly team which provides premium nursing care for the service users.

At Hebburn court we have Tier 2 visa and would only accept applicants who have pre-registered with NMC and should only apply who are eligible to be a qualified nurse.

As the Nurse in charge, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Home Manager with leading, motivating and developing the staff team.
  • Supporting the Manager in ensuring that the home is fully compliant with CQC and Local authority regulations.
  • Stepping up in the absence of another Nurse.
  • Providing outstanding clinical care to the residents and setting the benchmark standard for excellence for the other nurses within the home.
  • Supporting the Nursing Staff and Care Staff within the home on the floor.
  • Take responsibility of the medication and ensure all related information is properly recorded and maintained.

Applicant shall:

· Have at least 4 years of experience in nursing.

· Be a qualified RGN or RMN.

· Be friendly and Patient Orientated.

· Have a high level of clinical skills and a high attention to detail- Previous experience in a Nursing Home setting is advantageous.

Successful candidate will be required to provide with a valid, enhanced Disclosure certificate. Please note that we will acknowledge a transferable DBS certificate (Enhanced) and may allow for an immediate start.
