Disability Assessor - Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic

Salary
£35,000 up to £38,000 with OTE of £41,800*

Salary commences at £35,000 increasing to £36,000 with additional 2 x £1000 salary increases based on succession completion of internal training taking basic salary to £38,000 plus yearly performance related bonus of 10% (paid in quarterly instalments based) yearly OTE of £41,800!

You will undertake training for the first 6 weeks in all aspects of working as a Nurse Assessor and after this, you will, from the comfort of your own home, conduct clinical assessments for claimants who are making a claim for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

Recognized by the governing councils so able to maintain your NMC / HCPC pin from the comfort of your own home!

What will I be doing in this role?

Conducting paper-based assessments to evaluate how a claimant’s/customer’s health condition or disability affects their day-to-day life.
Reviewing and reporting on an individual’s ability to carry out activities.
Analysing and interpreting clinical information and supporting evidence.
Creating three reports of the evidence gathered for each claimant each day.
Ensuring enough detail, evidence and justification are given to support the DfC or DWP in making decisions.
Developing your clinical knowledge.

What do I need?

Post-qualification 12 months experience in one of the following: Nurse, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or OT.
Have an active registration with NMC/HCPC with no restrictions on practice.
No previous Disability Assessor experience is required as training is provided.
